AIG pauses on stock repurchase?

It seems like AIG is going to slow down its pace on stock repurchase.  AIG Chief Executive Brian Duperreault said Wednesday after the company’s annual meeting he will be receptive to other uses of cash generated by its businesses and is open to slowing down share buybacks. Hopefully, Brian will bring AIG back to the growth, even though it might be a long shoot. My position in AIG stalled (down by 20%) this year so far, should I find a chance to get out? John Fredriksen double down on the battered oil tanker business

JF is doubling down on oil tanker business, even as his offshore drilling business sinks in debt. Seadrill is facing July 31 deadline to restructure some $10 billion of debt. “It’s hard to answer if it will come out of restructuring, but as long as I back it, we’ll be OK,” said Mr. Fredriksen, declining to elaborate. “In the past, we’ve dealt with messier situations than Seadrill, but we came through.” – I need to watch out for SDRL and NADL.
