  • Richard Bove’s take on Trump admin’s plan on GSE is very interesting.
    • Washington is becoming more hostile to homeowners, with plans to reduce the mortgage deduction and eliminate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
    • The plans run in stark contrast to U.S. policy for the past 200 years to boost home ownership.
    • These moves would be good for banks, but could cause home prices to fall 20 percent.
  • Does this admin really want to hurt US economy for the benefit of big bank?
